NCAA guys can't play in this tournament. The development camps are the only team-related things the NCAA guys can do. Can't play in a game without signing their entry-level deal. That's why guys like Frederic and McAvoy aren't there. |

Yeah it's pretty crazy. Like this is actually the first meaningful game of sorts that guys like Gryz and O'Gara will play in, which is weird because they've been in the system for what's felt like forever now. |

I'm excited for O'Gara, Gryz too but I feel like Julien will continue his trend benching the kid he makes the team and makes a mistake.
Weren't they drafted 4 years ago?

I think Mueller is a better option than Connolly.
Prefer him making the team for 850,000 rather than signing Connolly to similar money. |

I've been thinking about this as well. I'd be inclined to take Muellers compete level over Connollys potential upside given the choice. Mueller plays the game with an up tempo kind of jam that Connolly just didn't bring night in and night out. Great depth player if it works out. |
